Pakistan Electronic Media Conference – the annual conference orchestrated (organized) by Institute of Journalism (IOJ). 2012 is the first year in which this program is commenced and will at present be organized by IOJ annually.

Pakistan Media Conference 2012 was held today on 2nd June 2012 in Arts Council Karachi at 1030 Hrs. and ended today on 2nd June 2012 at 1730 Hrs.
Chief guest of this conference was Mr. Faisal Sabzwari, Minister of Youth Affairs Government of Sindh and Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Textile Industries.
Pakistan Media Conference commenced with the Tilawat-e-Kalam-e-Pak and National Anthem of Pakistan. Pakistan Media Conference 2012 was based on total four sessions which was:
- Media and Politicians
- Media and Anchor Persons
- Leadership in Media
- Media and Public Relations, Print Medium and Entertainment.
In the first session of this conference which is called “Media and Politicians” Mr. Faisal Sabzwari, Mr. Mujahid Barelvi, Mr. Agha Massod and Mr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig expressed their views on the current behavior Pakistan private channels.
In the second session of this conference which was named ” Media and Anchor Persons”, Mr. Ahmed Shah discussed the current attitude of the anchor persons of private television channels and his speech was one of the best speech of this conference.
